Left me howling at the Moon

I

The moon, a witch, a crocodile
A separate piece, a kiss, your smile
Sat sitting floating aloft in sky
Open big jaws let forth a sigh
Cast a spell black magic
A dreamy spell black magic
Our lips touched
You asked for it
You said goodbye

II

A night cloud perfect with mind in trance
Led me through dropped dog markings
And up then down five neighbor's steps
Gazing at brilliant dreamboat sailing
The full October moon.
To document magic, I stepped in it
Curiosity compelling quicksilver blood
Hiding in small shadows
Blinding mirrored light filling view
I gazed and got it and you
You left me howling at the moon.
